Council on Ionizing Radiation Measurements and Standards Annual Meeting.

April 26, 2021 - April 27, 2021

ANNUAL MEETING

What: 2021 CIRMS Annual Meeting, April 26-27, 2021.

Location: Online Meeting.

Theme: Building Synergy Among Standards Labs and End Users.

FROM THE CIRMS:

Dear Colleagues,

We would like to invite you to join us for the 2021 Council on Ionizing Radiation Measurements and Standards (www.cirms.org) Annual Meeting to be held virtually and in an abbreviated format on the mornings of April 26-27, 2021 (~10 am to 1 pm EDT). Although we are disappointed to not meet face-to-face, we are confident that we can still provide a valuable meeting to shine a spotlight on radiation measurement needs and invoke stimulating discussions.

We have many expert speakers lined up for our plenary and subcommittee sessions to support our meeting theme, “Radiation in a Digital and Virtual World”. Our plenary sessions will include a session with three speakers, one from each CIRMS subcommittee (Medical Applications, Radiation Protection & Homeland Security, Industrial Applications & Material Effects). The final agenda is still pending but will be posted on the meeting website soon.

We welcome you to register now. Attendees are still welcome to submit abstracts, which will be posted on our website. Finally, as in past years, we welcome junior investigators to submit an abstract for a competition to earn prize money.
