Assessment of Strategies for Managing Cancer Risks Associated with Radiation Exposure During Crewed Space Missions

The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine invites the public to provide comments to be considered by the Committee on the Assessment of Strategies for Managing Cancer Risks Associated with Radiation Exposure During Crewed Space Missions, a study commissioned by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. The public comment period will be open until 11:59 p.m. ET on Sunday, April 18, 2021.

Members of the public are encouraged to submit written comments for consideration by the study committee (as individuals or on behalf of an organization) via email to SpaceRadiation@nas.edu. All materials and comments received will be placed in the committee’s Public Access File, and may be provided to the public upon request. Materials and comments received may also be included in the committee’s report.
